Formerly the publisher and editor of a smaltown newspaper in Wisconsin, Hoyt Johnson moved to Arizona with his wife and family in 1980. Originally founding Scottsdale Scene, a popular lifestyle magazine, Hoyt went on to establish the nationally-distributed Sedona Magaine.
